Well, I really wanted to find a base like mine that already had its fingernails and toesnails. I could find such a thing so at the time I settled for what I could find. I really wish this item was an accessory item instead of a shoe item cause I'd love to be able to wear some sandals or anything else that exposes the toes. So overall this is a decent item as it gets the job done in having painted toes... that is if you want to be bare foot.
