The IDEA was great, and the buildings that surround the main scene fit perfectly in with what we've seen of the Core. The execution of the main rooms where the avis congregate, however, is very off. As a Firefly fan, I'm a little confused by this room and might not have bought it were there more pictures to show what it was or if there were a way to try rooms before you buy them.

Yes, the additions of the Alliance symbols & the Blue Sun logos is a nice touch, and the city backdrop looks futuristic, certainly.

But then we have what looks like a car showroom with a Subaru racing car surrounded by four pools with a dolphin jumping over the walkway and a pool table stuck behind the car on the walkway, very randomly. It's such a tight squeeze trying to put that table there that my avi's heels aren't even on the walkway! And what's WITH that car, and speeding out of the showroom like that? First off, I have to check again, but I think the only time we saw *wheeled* vehicles was on the backwater/poor worlds; Serenity's mule had wheel's until the movie, and one of Patience's men rode an ATV, but otherwise all I saw in the Core was Air Cars and that sort of thing...

The Color scheme in the bar/club/whatever is a.) a little busy, and b.) very jarring with that red piano in the middle of all that blue. Everything we've seen of the Core worlds is very color-coordinated, soothing. Remember, Chinese and other Eastern cultural influences abound in the 'Verse, & everything is very feng-shui and Zen-like. This is so NOT. Overall, I'm not happy with this, even tho I LOVE your other 'Verse/Firefly stuff.
