In your buddywindow, select Settings and then Accelerated Graphics (3D) if this (or any other items you buy) appear streaked. In standard mode, this hot tub will appear streaked, in accel 3D you'll have glistening stars - tis an IMVU bug. Just learned the hard way myself!
