If you complain, forum, imvu, banned, disabled, threads deleted. Yes, sadly imvu would rather ban us than work with us, where together we could just about put a stop to the following.
So what is it that is causing massive concerns, what is it that is putting minors and young teens at serious, often dangerous risk on imvu.
First there are the indecent images, whether porn or indecent, because she is only 16, indecent child naked images.
Secondly we have a failed PR system. Did you know, only takes 6-0 to pass, if you are the 7th it does not count.
So fails if okay and someone gets in first 5-1, equally impossible to stop are bad ufi stuff because they submit it again and again until it gets the first 6-0 needed, if you are the 7th 6-1 it says incorrect vote for you, totally flawed eh.
Often it ends up 33-3 or 25-1, all over those first 6 votes do not count, wasted votes.
This suits the bad guys, and imvu seems to mostly turn a blind eye, not been interrested so far in preventing this, because after all it bring in a revenue, therefore putting profits over safety.
Given that virtual stimulation can lead to sexual stimulation, this is a serious concern. Given we may have sexual predators roaming around imvu, in chat rooms, chatting up those young teens and using the UFI and AP content that as I have said above, imvu allows to pass so easily, therefore really supports, having been told and refusing as yet to address the issue.
Why does it matter anyway, well maybe it is already too late anyway, kids already brainwashed by sites like this, with damaging consquences:

Well I've stop buying anything from imvu, not getting another cent off me period, until these issues are address. The fact finally after years, they are addressing the galleries, is one thing, but all the images still remain on their servers at present time. So in effect they are hosting in some cases child porn. You can contact district attorney's, FBI and other agencies online. Raise help tickets here, if enough of you care, because one day you too will have kids. Maybe in people power imvu will finally start to listen.

If you push too much, you are the one punished, banned, disabled, while the bad guys, well one, despite being reported, flagged, and the outfit sent to two staff, still on the next day. This was only a nude one, not strong sexual content. But again I've come across going through PR strong sexual content. Hidden in the catalog, only just passed on Wed 30th Nov. IMVU knows, lets them hide it and brings in revenue. This is corruption in my opinion and a disgrace and crying shame that it will hurt and effect our younger generation in years to come. What is love to them nower days, selfish sex perhaps? Kids are curious, impressionable, and if they are given a certain impression 'Well everyones doing it.' Some users even say well does say 18+ and in description, THAT does not make it right, the room should be AP, or done in private. 11 year old not going to go, oh I must not enter there then because i'm not over 18, curiousity will get the better of them. No good blaming the parents, be abuse to lock them up all day, yes are some bad parents. The kid can go around a friends, library, phone, many ways to access the net these days.
IMVU has to start sharing the responsibility more, not just empty words in a Terms and Service that most do not read or ignore anyway. Proper in place measures to ensure these ufi content can not get through PR, that pictures containing a man's erect private parts is not on the profile pic, disabling him, no good, can be seeng in people search and on someone home page where he made a comment, the pic has to be removed. So please help us help protect the vulnerable and the young, thanks you.
So concerned am I, actually cost me hundreds of dollars to get the equipment I need to be able to do this, and the thanks I get when raising concerns, is pass the buck to the TOS text in tickets raised, or disabled/banned if you contact staff direct. WHO REALLY DOES CARE THEN, most staff that get paid, or me that is actually paying out of my own pocket and not getting paid?
UPDATE:
IMVU seems to finally be addressing the porn and indecent images, however, having said that, one direct link still showed the pic on their servers. So likely they have jusy changed the way it is now being shown, or rather accessed. IMVU needs to go further, act more quickly, get more staff and start taking safety very seriously for once. Peer Review remains the same at time of writing with the good and bad easily getting through. It is useless, as they just re-submit the ufi content until it passes, and given 90 to 95% just pass everything regardless, misraters might make 4 to 9% and 1% are people like me and the group that vote it down correctly.
